On June 19th, the Department of Civil Engineering successfully held the meeting for visiting teacher to share their experience in Room 408. Three teachers who just returned from visiting abroad made a report on their experience of academic visiting.
Associate Prof. Xie Guihua visited The University of Queensland. She had a deeper understanding of the teaching concepts and teaching methods of world-class universities and knew more about the scientific frontiers in the field of civil engineering.

Associate Prof. Xu Haixia visited The University of British Columbia. Through her visiting, she gained a deeper understanding of the teaching mechanism, scientific research system, and personnel training of famous Canadian universities.

Associate Prof. Su Bo visited State University of New York at Buffalo. During the visit, he participated in the construction of UB International Joint Wind Tunnel Laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Wu Teng, an expert in international wind engineering, and carried out research and development work on the O2FSI fluid-solid coupling computing platform. His visit is conducive to the future teaching and research work of the civil engineering department in the field of earthquake resistance and wind resistance engineering.
