At 8:00 in June 16th, the 2019 Civil Engineering Structure Innovation Competition of Jiangsu University was successfully held on the first floor of the Old Library. Dean Prof. Bi Qinsheng attended and delivered a speech.

Firstly, he expressed his heartfelt congratulations on the success of the Competition on behalf of our faculty and expressed sincere welcome to the teachers and classmates who participated in this competition. He emphasized that the Competition is a traditional event in our faculty and we have achieved remarkable results in this competition. It is organized to cultivate students' professional quality, improve their practical ability and enhance their sense of innovation, which are of great significance. He hoped that the students will cherish and grasp the opportunity of this precious competition, actively link theory with reality, work hard and strive to achieve even better results.

The competition is divided into two types: loading test groups and model display groups. Two groups were selected to attend the competition in province after fierce competition.

The success of this competition provided a wide range of opportunities for college students while embodied the great emphasis of our faculty on practical teaching links and personnel training.
