In order to welcome the 19th CPC National Congress and strengthen the understanding and recognition of contemporary college students' socialist values, the Institute of marxism in our faculty worked with class 1602 successfully held an activity called “A Morning Glow” in Sep. 28th.

Before the start of the event, the Minister of the Institute of marxism handed out the prepared materials to the students, and divided them into groups of two or three, so that they could freely discuss their understanding of the socialist core values and express them in the form of paper cutting. During the activity, Tang Zijie showed us the skills of paper cutting. Watching the blank cardboard changed into the word "freedom" in his hands, the students couldn't help cheering up and the atmosphere reached a climax. In order to let the students explain their own works to find the best work, the judges made grades and awarded one first prize, two second prize and three third prize. The activity came to a successful ending in the laughter of the students.

Through this activity, the students expressed their understanding of socialist core values with the help of the Chinese traditional handicraft paper-cut, which rich their thought and strength their practical ability and the understanding of socialist core values.
