From Nov. 2nd to 4th, nearly 300 experts and professors gathered in Zhenjiang to attend the 11th National Conference on Dynamics and Control which was successfully held in our university.

　　President Yan Xiaohong delivered a welcome speech at the meeting. He gave a brief introduction of Jiangsu University and mechanics discipline. He hoped that this meeting would further promote the connotation construction of the mechanics discipline and make new contributions to the construction of new engineering discipline.

　　Academician Hu Haiyan expressed the hope that through this conference, the exchange and cooperation among experts attending the conference could be further strengthened, the scientific research innovation level of dynamics and control could be improved. He particularly pointed out that young teachers are the hope of the discipline and encouraged them to aim high and strive to improve their scientific research ability and level.

　　Experts who attended the meeting made some deep discussions on advanced craft, liquid rocket system, oil drilling system, underwater acoustic stealth equipment, space structure of low frequency vibration and noise control, and other national major project question for in-depth academic exchanges.
