On the afternoon of Oct.23rd, the academic tutor work conference was held in room 210 of our faculty. All the academic tutors and full-time part-time counselors participated in the conference. The conference was presided over by Zhou Xi’an, the deputy secretary of our faculty.
First of all, teacher Xiuping Jiang informed everyone about the situation of students in different grades from different aspects. Then instructor Huimin Xu and Yu Xia gave a briefing on the situation of freshman class morning exercises and self-study since October. Academic tutors communicated on the difficulties and experiences of current work.
Finally, deputy dean Xian Zhou made a summary. He hoped that academic tutors will encourage their students to develop their own personality, actively participate in scientific research, technological innovation, academic competitions, international exchanges, and various social practices so that students can grow both horizontally and vertically.
