At 9:00 a.m. on November 17th, 2018, our faculty held the 8th architecture festival and the 20th anniversary celebration of civil engineering undergraduate program in the staff activity center. Jinqing Chen, chairman of the labor union of Jiangsu University and all the staff of our faculty attended the celebration. The opening ceremony also invited the alumni of the 98-grade architecture class to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Dean Prof. Qinsheng Bi. On behalf of the faculty, he extended his sincere welcome to the leaders, guests and 98 alumni. He encouraged the students not to forget the original heart to continue to move forward, carry forward the spirit our faculty motto , strive to make progress and as early as possible to grow into the pillars of the motherland.
Under the announcement of Zhang Hong, Chairman of Faculty Affairs Committee, the 8th Architectural Festival was officially started. The main event-the structural innovation competition preliminary competition also officially started. As judges, the class of 98 made comments on the works one by one. The students who participated in the competition also expressed their benefits.
