On the afternoon of September 13th, President Xiaohong Yan led a delegation to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics to have a research and guidance. All the stuff of our faculty participated in the meeting.

Dean Qinsheng Bi firstly reported the achievements of our faculty's professional and discipline construction, undergraduate teaching, scientific research, teacher team building, internationalization and academic exchange, student work, party building, and ideological and political work. Then he analyzed the current situation of the faculty and reported the top-level design, management system and effective measures for the development of the strategy to achieve the development of the college.

President Yan fully affirmed the good development of our faculty in recent years. He congratulated our faculty on the approval of two national key projects in recent years and the first national-level international joint research center and several national natural funds. He also put forward three requirements for the future work of our faculty.

Finally, President Yan asked the relevant functional departments of the school to do a good job in management services, timely follow up the career development of the college, and help solve practical problems.
