On September 12th, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics held the 2018 Faculty Meeting at 1F02 of Sanjiang Building. All the leaders and stuff of our faculty attended the meeting, which was hosted by Hong Zhang, chairman of faculty affairs committee.

First of all, Dean Qinsheng Bi made a work report with the title of "Uniting with One Heart and Creating Brilliance Together". He briefly reviewed the work in the first half of 2018 and reported outstanding achievements in six aspects including discipline, scientific research, research and teaching, and talent introduction. And he conveyed the points of the work to be done in the rest of the year. It is hoped that the teachers of the whole faculty will unite closely for the development of the college's various undertakings, which will provide strong support for the school to achieve the goal of “double first-class” construction at an early date.

At last, Hong Zhang made a final speech which conveyed the spirit of the speech delivered by Secretary Yuan and Principal Yan at the meeting of cadres and teachers of the whole school in the new term.
