At the beginning of the event, Assistant Dean Han Yu introduced Dr. Yang Yang’s overseas study experience and research fields and conducted a brief analysis of the development trend of geotechnical disciplines in our faculty. He hoped that relevant young teachers should also pay close attention to relevant national policies while closely following the frontiers of disciplines to find out the research direction of the project as soon as possible. Then Dr. Yang Yang shared his research and life stories during his studies in Germany in the seven parts of “Study and Life Experience - My 2011-2017”. In the report, Dr. Yang focused on the achievements he achieved in several aspects of the “thermo-fluid-solid three-dimensional coupled finite element analysis model”, “theoretical analysis of THM coupled model” and “theoretical analysis of layered geological structure”. Finally, Dr. Yang Yang described his experiences, thoughts, and realizations in his life in Germany with his own experience! In the report, Dr. Yang also shared his experiences in visiting countries such as Luxembourg, Belgium, and Norway.
Dr. Yang's report was simple and easy to understand, which aroused the strong interest of the teachers and students present. After the meeting, students also had a discussion with Dr. Yang on academic issues.
