On the afternoon of April 27th, our faculty organized “Assistant Teaching of Young Teachers—Teaching Competition” at Room 302 of the Annex Building of Sanjiang Building. The activity invited Su Hong and some experienced teachers of our faculty as the judges. It was hosted by Deputy Prof. Sun Baocang. Young teachers who assist teaching participated in the activity.
Firstly, Prof. Sun emphasized that the purpose of this event was to improve the overall quality and teaching ability of the young teachers in our faculty, which ensure a steady improvement in the quality of teaching at the college and to make preparations for advance acceptance at the end of the school term meanwhile. Then the three teachers whose lecturing training period is coming to an end and the three teachers whose teaching assistants are nearing the end of the training period gave a 20-minute demonstration.
The judges gave pertinent opinions and suggestions based on the performance of the contestants. They all agreed that through the accumulation of three years, the teaching level of the teacher during the main training period was significantly higher than that of the teaching assistant training teacher, which means that they have achieved the goal of training for the main training period. At the same time, it is hoped that the teachers in training can study carefully and the courseware will be carefully crafted to fully prepare for the platform.
