On Dec.9th, Education Working Committee of China Civil Engineering Society, Jiangsu Association hosted the Professional Assessment of Civil Engineering in Xuzhou. Deputy dean Baocang Sun, director of department of civil engineering Chunhua Lu, vice director Jie Yin took part in this seminar, and head of civil engineering discipline Prof. Ronggui Liu was also invited as an expert in the meeting. Hundreds of teachers of civil engineering joined together to discuss the development of the assessing (certification) work of the education in Jiangsu Province.

Since we became a member of the Washington Agreement, the standard and system of the civil engineering have changed. Six experts focused on six different aspects to present their deep thought on the education, concept and the assessing methods. This meeting provided a platform for teachers and experts to share their experience and thoughts which set a solid foundation to complete the certification work.
