In the afternoon of Apr 28, the 4th "Zhiyuan" academic salon of 2017 was held in room 202, the annex of SanJiang building . The report invited Dr. Lilin Cao and Prof. Chengyuan Wang as a report. The salon was hosted by Prof. Jinxing Liu. All the teachers of our faculty and graduate students took part in the academic activities.
At the beginning, Prof. Liu made a brief introduction about Dr. Cao and Prof. Wang’s research areas and major academic achievements. Then Prof. Wang made an academic report called “Theoretical research and experimental synthesis of gold nano particle composites”. After Prof. Wang’s report, Mr. Cao also gave a report on the topic of “The study of vibration response analysis and vibration reduction control for large span structures”.
The academic report aroused the interest of many teachers and students, and after the meeting, we had a lively discussion with the two experts. The content of this salon activity which concluding mechanics and civil engineering is rich and detailed, further enhancing the academic atmosphere of our college, and improving the professional quality of our teachers and students.
