In the afternoon of Apr.13, the 2nd "Zhiyuan" academic salon of 2017 was held in room F302 of Sanjiang building . The salon was hosted by Prof. Jianfei Lu, deputy dean of our faculty. All the teachers of our faculty and graduate students took part in the academic activities.
At the beginning, Prof. Lu made a brief introduction to Prof. Jianguo Zhu and Dr. Jie Yin. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of “Zhiyuan” academic salon. Then Prof. Zhu made an academic report called “Testing method, theoretical research and application of deformation vector based on the optical deformation”. And Dr. Yin also gave a report with the name of “The study on temperature creep properties of RAP materials”.
The academic report aroused the interest of many teachers and students, and after the meeting, we had a lively discussion with the two experts. The content of this salon activity which concluding mechanics and civil engineering is rich and detailed, further enhancing the academic atmosphere of our college, and improving the professional quality of our teachers and students.
