It is a moment of great felicity for the faculty of Civil Engineering & Mechanics, Jiangsu University that Mr. Shoaib Ahmed,master’s degree student under thesupervisionof Assoc. Prof. JieYin,has been selected for an academic year exchange studies at one of the prestigious university in Europe, theUniversityof Zilina in Slovakia, to continue his research studies.
The scholarship program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic, which receive applications from all over the world and has rigorous evaluation criteria. Therefore, selection of Mr. Shoaib Ahmed, and being a first international student from this faculty to go abroad to continue his research activities is an honor for School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, and Overseas Education College (OEC) of Jiangsu University.
Prof. Eng. Peter Kotes, Ph.D., dean faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Zilina, will co-supervise Mr. Shoaib Ahmed during his short-term stay in the Slovak Republic.
Faculty of Civil Engineering & Mechanics wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors, and hope that it will open the opportunities for other students and researchers, and improve the co-operation between two universities.
