In current special period, most teachers worked at home, which brings new problems and challenges to the declaration of national natural science foundation. In order to adapt to this new situation, our faculty initiatively innovated working methods, and made efforts to organize and guide the declaration of national natural science foundation in special period.

During March 2nd to 8th, the department of mechanics and engineering science, department of civil engineering, department of construction management, and institute of structural health management held a number of online exchange meetings on fund application based on their own situations. At the meeting, teachers shared the current science and technology policy and reform hot spots.

During March 6th to 10th, our faculty carefully organized the first round of pre-evaluation of NSF application forms. In the future, our faculty will furtherly adopt new methods to promote various scientific research work and provide better service in scientific research for all teachers and students.
