In the afternoon of March 18th, vice president Mei Qiang, director of teaching affairs office Wang Qian, vice director of teaching affairs office Xue Hongli came to our faculty to make an investigation on our professional construction. All leaders, directors of departments and laboratories attended the meeting.

Firstly, director of the department of civil engineering Lu Chunhua made a report on the professional construction of first-class major with four aspects of basic situation, achievements, highlights, and key emphasis in future work. Then Director Wang Qian suggested that our faculty should condense four professional features furtherly and tap talent training advantages fully in the future to strengthen our majors. Vice president Mei Qiang expressed full recognition of the preparatory work done by the faculty and hope we can strengthen the development of teaching achievements and repeatedly condensed the characteristics of the talents training.

At last, Chair of faculty committee for administrative affairs Zhang Hong made a speech on the behalf of our faculty. She said that our faculty has established special working group for the first-class professional construction and we will try our best to do this work.
