In order to create an international atmosphere for our faculty, promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and help students to learn more about foreign culture and international exchanges, our faculty held a forum of overseas exchange experience on May 19, 2019 in Sanjiang Building 209, which provided a platform for consultations for students who have the intention to study abroad and the experience of the outstanding seniors.

Firstly, Zhu Wenya from English 1701 showed us a colorful life style in Los Angeles through the wonderful vlog. She told us about the food, clothing, housing and transportation in UCLA and put forward effective suggestions on some details of living abroad. Then Qiao Linru from Mechanics 1701 shared her learning experience in social work projects in Hong Kong with easy-to-understand language. At last, the experience shared of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from Li Meiping pushed the atmosphere of the symposium to a climax. She encourages students to be brave enough to get out of their comfort zone. If they have creative ideas, they must jump out of their original thinking framework and solve the practical problems to learn to use reverse thinking. Her speech caused a constant applause from the students in the audience. The symposium also ended in applause.
