The Eighth Sino-Foreign Postgraduate Academic Forum of Jiangsu University was held from November 16th, 2018 to December 18th, 2018. The Engineering Forum Ⅱ was hosted by the School of Electrical and Information Engineering on December 2nd, 2018 in Auditorium of Jiangsu University.  Almost 50 students from the School of Agricultural Equipment Engineering, School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Science and School of Civil Engineering participated through posters and oral presentation of their scholarly works. The Academic Forum was attended by hundreds of students which sets an enthusiastic and competitive environment for presenters. The jury was composed of 4 distinguished Professors each coming from the participating Schools of The Engineering Forum Ⅱ. Mr. Shoaib Ahmed- Master’s Degree Student (under the supervision of Professor Yin Jie) represented the Department of Civil Engineering in the Engineering Forum Ⅱ and presented his research work. It is great privilege and honour to share that Mr. Shoaib Ahmed was declared as the best presenter (by the distinguished jury) among all the participants and awarded with the First Prize. The Department of Civil Engineering congratulate Mr. Shoaib Ahmed for winning the First Prize and encourage other students to take part in such academic activities held at University.
