On the afternoon of Mar.23rd, 2018, The first meeting of the second session of our faculty was successfully held in the third conference hall. Song Yuqing, vice president of Jiangsu University, attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Zhang Hong, Chairman of Faculty Affairs Committee.

At the meeting, vice president Song made an important speech. He highly appreciated the achievements our faculty have obtained in recent years, especially the first-level doctoral discipline of mechanics and the first-level master degree program.

Then, Dean Prof. Bi Qinsheng made a work report on behalf of the party and political team. He totally summarized the achievements and shortcomings of our faculty in 20017 and put forward the key points of work in 2018. He focused on the top-level design, scientific research, teaching faculty, party construction, internationalization and other respects and set clear goals which pointing out the direction for our faculty’s development.

At last, Zhang Hong, Chairman of Faculty Affairs Committee made a conclusion remark and gave three suggestions. All teachers from different departments discussed the report and planned the development jointly.
