On March 24, 2017, vice president Ditao Niu, from of Xi' an university of architecture and technology, presented an academic report entitled "computational method of structural performance degradation and corrosion component carrying capacity" at conference center. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Ronggui Liu.
The report mainly introduced the following five aspects: (1) Background; (2) Content of concrete structure durability; (3) Performance degradation and bearing capacity calculation of corrosion component; (4) Assessment of concrete structure durability; (5) Conclusion.
Vice president Niu elaborated on the characteristics of failure and the bearing capacity of the corroded reinforced concrete members, and summarized the research systematically.
