On Nov.26th , a lecture with the title of "Practice to grow up, strive to be talent" was held by our faculty. Chairman of faculty affairs committee Hong Zhang was invited to give this lecture and nearly 200 students attended.

At the beginning, Hong Zhang generalized the theme of the lecture, namely: "Practice, Grow up and Be talent." Firstly, she made her personal opinion on practice and proposed requirements and advice on 5 aspects--study objectives, attitudes, methods, interests and effects. She combined her personal experience with current condition to give a series of practical advice for our students. Then she concluded five qualities for students which include talents, faith, ability, morality, and attitude based on current events in today's society. She took a senior student of the year 2010 as an example and told the students to establish a correct concept of learning, find joy in learning, and sublime themselves during the interesting learning process.

Hong Zhang’s humorous and philosophical words attracted all the students present. She impressed all the faculty with her rich life experience and provided a spiritual feast to us.
